Today I searched my question on the internet to see peoples thoughts/ results on this experiment and i found this one specific site http://www.schoolphysics.co.uk/age11-14/Matter/text/Stretching_things/index.html , This experiment did something similar to my experiment but it used weights and springs to find the results instead of what i did with the elastic band and the newton spring scale. This site also talks about a scientist in 1676 named Robert Hooke who performed this sort of experiment and received the same sorts of results that I received. Hooke realized that the more force that is put on to a piece of elastic or a spring, the more it will stretch, and he also realized that the length increased by the same amount every time the force was increased by a fixed amount.

Graphed Results
Here I took the measurements I found in my table and put them into a graph, and it turned out looking like this:
Results
Here are the results I found when i performed this experiment:
Note: If you are planning to do this experiment, remember your results will not be the same as mine because of the chance of the elastic band being different in length, thickness, etc.

Greetings
Hello this blog is meant for my physics experiment, "What is the amount of force required to stretch a rubber band?"
